A lovely piece of advertising…

Tuesday, November 8th, 2011

Just received this in from a happy client – They sell great coffee (www.greencup.co.uk) – Fab getting this sort of feedback and great to see that our work delivers a return on investment:

—-

We are an ad agency in Chelsea harbour and get through huge amounts of coffee for client meetings.  We are looking for a more ethical brand which is much more in keeping with our company ethos.  We would like to purchase in bulk and would like prices too.

I found you guys through the DM leaflet you sent out.  Lovely piece of advertising!

Feel free to call me or email.

Many thanks

Getting the designs you want

Monday, June 27th, 2011

A design is only as good as its brief. Here are some tips for briefing a design agency that will help you get the outcomes you want.

- Start with the results; what do you want the project to achieve? What are your business objectives?

- Make sure your agency understands exactly what your company does. And how this project fits into the bigger picture.

- List your main competitors and explain how you differ from them.

- Who are you targeting? Are there several groups of customers? Think about age, occupation etc., and also their views and tastes, what worries them and how you solve those problems.

- What do you want the audience to hear? Define the key message and any secondary messages.

- What do you want your audience to do as a result of hearing those messages?

- Find examples of styles you want to achieve.

- Set clear time scales and budgets.

- Trust the designer to do the creative bit.

- When you evaluate the concepts, do it objectively: list the pros and cons. Ask yourself “How well does this meet the brief?” “Does it transmit the right message?” rather than “Do I like it?”

Why use a copywriter?

Monday, December 13th, 2010

DIY copywriting; it seems like a good idea at the time. But many of our clients find themselves baffled by what to write. And when they do write it, they often find it doesn’t bring in the results they hoped for. A good copywriter will…..

1. Quickly get to grips with your brand, your brief and your organisation and write the words you want, while you get on with your day job.

2. Write words that tap into your customers’ needs and persuade them to buy your product or service.

3. Create a verbal identity that reflects your brand and brings consistency to your marketing material.

4. Work seamlessly with your design agency so that it all comes together without you spending time coordinating it.

5. Complete the work fast so that your project goes live when you want it to go live.

6. Contribute specialist knowledge about the best way to write for each medium, e.g. writing web copy so that it works for both readers and search engines.

7. Be scarily pedantic about making sure your copy is grammatically correct.

Loyalty design and marketing

Tuesday, June 1st, 2010

It’s a mug not a mug’s game…

Sometimes creating a bit of loyalty and keeping your brand front of mind is as simple as a mug. Well… if you provide fantastic office coffee vending like Redcup Coffee that is.  Below is the mug design we completed for Redcup as a giveaway to their clients / prospective clients. It underlines their core message that Redcup are revolutionising the serving of coffee in our offices. Very simple but in this case effective.

Retail Supply Integration The IKEA Way
– a manual for Inter IKEA Systems B.V.

Wednesday, May 12th, 2010

Inter IKEA Systems B.V., the owner and worldwide franchise owner of the IKEA Concept, commissioned Feelingpeaky to produce an internal learning resource manual to help aid the successful implementation of the IKEA Concept.

Feelingpeaky took the base content supplied by Inter IKEA Systems and transformed it into a 116 page manual that communicated the systems and methods used for implementing retail supply integration. The intention was to provide contemporary knowledge and demonstrate the IKEA Way to enhance the competitiveness of the IKEA Concept by explaining why a system or method is recommended, what it is and why it exists. The goal is to have the user understand and have the ability to act in accordance with the recommendations to distinguish IKEA operations in the market.

Feelingpeaky provided copywriting services, creative concepting as well as DTP and project management services. The end result was a very cost-efficient and resourceful publication for the client and we have already been briefed on our second manual project – Customer Delivery Logistics The IKEA Way.

Branding, print and website design for NOW

Monday, November 2nd, 2009

NOW stands for National Orthodontic Week. NOW is the brainchild of the British Orthodontic Society.

The campaign was created to focus attention on the ways the look and function of your teeth can be improved; providing clear and impartial information about orthodontic treatment and encouraging you to find out more… NOW.

Feelingpeaky, the london based branding, print and website design company was selected to create an indentity, website, posters and t-shirts to support the event. Our aim was to produce a brand that is fun / funky but also professional / attractive and positions NOW (National Orthodontics Week) for success. Something that would reach out to both the consumer and professional market. The result is below…

NOW

It was agreed the key communication vehicle for the new event would be a website. The site is predominantly a consumer facing site – informing them about orthodontics and what it can do for them – The client wanted us to think big smiley faces – great teeth – and not dentists and nurses in masks. The site was to be aspirational and achievable and motivate people to take action.

NOW website design

Have a look at the site for yourself at:  www.nowsmile.org

Lastly to support the work done by orthodontists themselves we created a number of materials to be used in or at their practices.

Print design for NOW

Now launches officially in March 2010. It was certainly a project we enjoyed getting our teeth into (bad pun intended!) and we would like to thank the BOS for selecting Feelingpeaky.

CREW parties launch

One of our favourite clients have branched out in a new direction. CREW and their team of professional presenters are now applying their skills outside schools creating CREW Parties.

Feelingpeaky had the pleasure of creating a promotional card to launch the new venture. The work covered original illustration, graphic design and print management. We also created a matching web page on the CREW website.
