Hanwell Hootie

Who are they?

The Hanwell Hootie is the largest free music festival in London which aims to bring live music back to the home of the legendary Marshall Amplification. The first Hootie took place in 2013 showcasing 13 bands in local venues. 5 years on the festival now hosts over 85 bands in 14 venues.

The Challenge

Feelingpeaky were tasked with bringing the 2016 souvenir programme and other festival collateral to life. Creating bespoke page designs for the “Igloo Food Festival” and the “Hootie Shuttle Bus” among others.

In 2017 our role expanded to include the design and development of a responsive website to act as a hub for communicating all things #Hootie out to the local community and festival fans.

The Solution

Working on a project like this was so much fun. Being local to Hanwell added to the enjoyment. Our aim was to deliver a programme that belongs in the ‘The home of loud’ and we very much look forward to the festival this year.

We chose WordPress as the platform for the website due to its user friendly CMS as it was important that the client was able to be self-sufficient and regularly update the site with festival news.

Like what you see? Take the next step. Let’s grow together.
