Product packaging that performs

Your product packaging is often the first, best and last chance to make a sale. Hard-working packaging has a lot to do. Firstly get noticed, then communicate what it is, make someone care, be persuaded, and finally provide them with the desire to take action – buy me!

Feelingpeaky have successfully designed packaging for a wide range of products – from coffee and hot chocolate to fertiliser and natural skin products.

It is to our great satisfaction to see our hard-working packaging performing in their retail environments. We love the challenge to deliver a creative solution.

  • Why they make a difference?

Greencup

Wow Greencup – where do we start? A coffee brand with aspirations to be set apart from others. How? By being “greener” than the rest. By devising a solution for all those spent coffee grinds. Turning it into coffee fertiliser (that also acts a slug repellent!).

Kepow

KEPOW is a series of hot and flavoursome sauces designed for London independent café chain L’Express Coffee. Our client was looking for a striking brand with bright and colourful packaging. They wanted it to really stand out and reinforce the extradorinary flavour within the sauce. The sauces had a fantastic response in store adding a real spark to customers lunches.

Hej juice

From their spiritual home in Bermondsey Hej Coffee brings the authentic neighbourhood coffee shop vibe to the workplace. Feelingpeaky’s challenge was to deliver packaging solutions for a wide range of restaurant deliverables whilst maintaining the Hej Café’s inherent mission and core values.

Have a burning packaging design question?

Answers to our clients’ frequently asked questions…

What type of product packaging do you design?

Feelingpeaky have already designed product packaging for tubes, boxes, bottles and bags. Our talented packaging design team will help efficiently deliver creative packaging design that says “pick me up!”.

I haven’t decided on the type of packaging I need as yet. Can you provide advice?

Yes, we can advise! During the planning and research stage of the project we can explore packaging options that would performs on many fronts from more functional aspects through to helping to present and sell your unique proposition.

Can you support me with my packaging design briefing process?

Yes, of course. We’re here to help! We have a packaging briefing document that asks all the base relevant information. We will support you through the process and ensure we have all the relevant information to enable our designer to move forward with your vision. Get started now.

What information do I need to provide to ensure a successful packaging design project?

As well as creative direction for the packaging we’ll need to understand the content that should appear on the packaging including but not exhaustive…. Ingredients, nutritional information, storage conditions, instructions for use, internal codes, Fairtrade symbol and details, barcodes/UPC codes, product descriptive copy (we can write this for you too if needed), logo files, brand guidelines, cutter guide template, photos of the product, contact details, allergy information etc.

What is a cutter guide template?

A cutter guide or dieline is a flattened template of the proposed package design. It presents all the folds and cuts required when printing. If you have something very specific in mind then providing a cutter guide upfront will make the project much more efficient. Otherwise we can work with you, the printer or manufacturer to select a base structure / template to produce the designs on.

What are the final deliverables?

On final payment we’ll provide print ready files. We can also manage the print process and source suitable suppliers to deliver the final packaging.

How much does it cost?

Packaging projects range from product labels to bespoke and complex packs. Packaging projects are priced on an individual basis. We’ll work with you depending on your scope to agree a budget up front. Then we’ll stick to it! Ensuring we deliver to that budget through an efficient project management process. Please note: Packaging projects start from a minimum of £3,000. A packaging project could though be much more depending on scope. The best way forward is to simply contact us to discuss your plans.
